$1500 for a pretty clean '88 BMW.
Guy admits there's a few problems with it, but nothing that isn't fixable. The seats looks pretty bad, but some decent seat covers would be okay until I could find some replacements. I feel like this is a really good price for this car, but what do you guys think?

I'd want a good look at the rust in the trunk - could be nothing serious, could be rust from the shock towers showing through.

That would definitely be something I'd pay close attention to. Hopefully it's just some minor surface rust.

Dammit, why do things like this have to pop up all the sudden. I had my heart set on getting a F-Body, then this shows up at this price and is so clean. Screw the muscle car, I need an old German in my life.

I feel like you could get one in better shape with a lot fewer unknowns for not a whole lot more money. The whole "I have no idea how many miles are on this car" thing is a massive red flag. If he has been daily driving it for four years, he has a fairly good idea of how many miles are on it.

These are just so hard to find this clean and rust-free in around where I live. Most are trashed by the 5th owner or rusted to almost nothing.

she's a peach. lachsilber paint wears very well and panels look really clean (i have an e30 in that color) coolant sensor fix is just to unplug it and clean the grime off. all the other problems are common and easily fixed for an e28. check for rust as others have said. but buy it if you can. its a steal. not a scam.......i mean.... he has the bentley.

As far as e28s go, the 528e isn't the one to have. My mom had one. It was the car I learned to drive in. I liked it, but if I was buying an e28 today, I'd skip the 528e and look for a 535i.
